Hello! Welcome! It's good to finally be back! First request of the few I have! Requested by BraveVesperia1 and made by me! ENJOY!
Also it's an AU - no weapons, no dust, no Grimm, no White Fang... Just a normal life but with faunus...

Beacon High...

I sat on the chair in the cafeteria and watched my best friend Pyrrha look at Jaune with clingy eyes... To say the truth it was the thing that hurts me the most. I am a cat faunus and often get bullied by Cardin and his gang. I keep up with the physical pain but the view of her staring at someone who almost doesn't notices her makes me hurt the most. I was her best friend, I am and probably will be forever... But I want something more. Who however would want a faunus like me?

I'm mostly lazy and just love to sleep around. I keep my grades at the average level so that my parents won't get mad at me. I don't have any sport that I'm interested in and I'm a rather shy person who prefers to be on the side so I don't have many friends. Pyrrha however is like an opposite. She is active and helps around the school. She have one of the best grades in school and achieved many rewards at many diffrent sports. She was akward at first but quickly got popular and befriended many people while I got on the sideline... I'm not sure if I'm even seen by her anymore or if I'll will really stay her best friend...

I sigh and after I barely ate some of my lunch before Cardin came in. He did the usual thing with pulling on my ears and tail while laughing at me and calling me freak the whole time. I got used to it. After some time they started to leave but Sky on the way out tossed mt food in the trash can with a laugh. I got used to it. I saw other people laughing at me or looking with pity because no one really wanted to get in Cardin's way or simply hate faunus. I got used to it. I heard Pyrrha sigh with that strange lonely note as she couldn't be with Jaune because he kept on staring at Weiss... I... I'll never get used to it...

( Pyrrha P.o.V )

I saw (Y/N) leaving the cafeteria. His normally nice and fluffly tailed all ragged up and between his legs. His fluffy ears not better and lying on top of his head. The pained look on his face. I wanted to talk to him and see if I can help him but then Jaune started to talk with me. He is just so sweet despite how dense he is sometimes. He often stare at Weiss but after I'll confess to him he'll for sure turn his gaze at me. I mean most of the guys here in school would want to date me. I hope Jaune would like that too...

I just gave (Y/N) a last glance as he reached the exit. He turned and looked me right in the eyes. He held so much pain in them... Normally he is so up beat and always smiling I'd never expect to see something like this from him. He saw Jaune next to me and his look for a second turned venomous before scoffing and leaving in anger. Is he jealous of me liking Jaune? I mean (Y/N) is sweet too but I doubt he would like me that way since we're best friends.

"Hey Pyrrha, why are looking towards the exit like that?" My other friend Ruby asked and I smiled sadly. "It's just... (Y/N) isn't himself lately. He stays away from us, he stopped talking to me as much, he turned into even more of a loner and I can barely catch him to talk with him..." I saw Yang facepalm. "And you call Jaune dense sometimes... You're worse then him sometimes you know that, right?" "What do you mean?" I asked and even Blake leaned against her head in her hands with a loud sigh.

"Ever since when he started to act like that?" Weiss asked and I scratched my chin thinking. "It would be... around the time when I got crush on Jaune." Nora clapped her hands. "And you started to totally ignore your best friend who is getting bullied behind your back by Cardin and his goons. He even stopped reacting lately. He just sits there taking in theirs bullying." I put my hands over my mouth in surprise. That would explain the pained look on his face and why his fluffy tail and ears were in total chaos and not looking as soft as before...

"I mean I am dense, super-hyperactive girl with urge to break someone's legs but even I can see it! He loves you!" Nora said out loud catching attention of a few others students who started to laugh. "That cat rag?! He loves Pyrrha?! Maybe he even thinks he have a chance!" They started to laugh harder along with a few people in cafeteria while I and my friends gave all of them disgusted look, I was as angry as I have never been before. How could they talk about (Y/N) like this! He's my best friend...

"B-But (Y/N) never told me something like that happens!" I said holding my head in my hands and resting my elblows on the table. I felt something hot streaming down my face. I touched my cheeks feeling a hot tear slowly rolling down my finger before falling on the surface of the table. "I'm not gonna lie here Pyrrha. You totally left (Y/N) behind as soon as you met Jaune. You just kept on looking after your crush and completely forgot your best friend who turned into a target for bullies and other people since he don't have anyone. We wanted to talk to him but he simply always says that everything is fine even after Cardin beat him up and he could barely walk and simply leaned against a wall before making his way to his dorm room. He is... depressed to say the least." Yang explained to me. "I-I have to find him!" I left the table and almost run to exit...

( Reader P.o.V )
Your dorm room...

I sat in the bath with a knife in my hand. I moved it over my forearm making a deep slash on my skin and stare at the dripping blood. I've been doing this to keep my head close to the ground. To make sure to get isolated from everything that was around along with thoughts of me and Pyrrha being together. She'll be happy with Jaune if he'll accept her... I'm just a faunus... A freak... I moved the blade again but the place where I put a cut on was diffrent...

I looked down seeing a long gush with blood spraying all over the floor from my wrist. From the anger and frustration I cut my own wrist by accident. I have to stop it somehow... I got on my feet and tried to find the bandage behind the mirror above the sink. I barely got on my feet when I slipped on the blood with my first step and hit my head against the wall hard. I slided back down and saw everything spinning and blurry. I reached forward when suddenly a soft hand put a pressure on my wrist and started to yell.

I looked up but even with my blurry vision I could clearly see the red color of Pyrrha's hair. To my stupid luck it also had to be Pyrrha of all people that came to my help. She started to pet my head and whisper into my ear. "Everything will be okay... Please (Y/N), stay with me. Look at me." I wanted to see her for the last time. I felt the life pouring out of my wrist and pulsating pain in the head making the vision blurry came to make even that much hard.

Soon I saw a medical personel running in with screams. They lifted me up Pyrrha gasped seeing the blood on the hand she used to pet my head. I didn't care anymore. I felt so light... and so tired at the same time. I could take a nap. It can't be that much, can it? I closed my eyes thinking that I can take a rest after a long day but instead I felt someone shaking me awake and tears hitting my own cheeks. I looked up at the crimson red hair. "P-Please... (Y/N) look at me.. Don't close your eyes..." She was talking to me between sobs while they started to take me away with Pyrrha following and holding my hand giving it a gentle squeeze every now and then...

Timeskip...
( Pyrrha P.o.V )
Hospital...

I sat on the chair near the bed on which (Y/N) currently was lying on. He was pale and had bags under his eyes. There wasn't even a single trace of his once so up beat smile, no more life filled expression. It was so empty now... If I only knew about all he was going throught... And instead of helping him I even pushed him away to try and ask Jaune out who loves Weiss... I reached out to him and gentle squeezed his hand. If I only knew...

"P-Pyrrha?" He asked in a weak tone. He was finally awake! I hugged him but was very careful about it. It turned out that after a few beatings Cardin and his gang gave him his bones weren't strong enought to withstand much longer and many has cracks or are even broken... He was going throught all that pain because I turned my back on him... On my best friend. "Oh (Y/N)! I'm so sorry!" I started crying loudly and he was confused about what was going on.

"If I only didn't turn my back to you! If I only was close to you! Please! Forgive me!" I started yelling between sobs. He chuckled weakly and pet my head. "I should be the one to say sorry... I understand that you don't want a faunus who everyone make fun of for a friend..." He said and I looked u pat him. At his pain-filled eyes and the empty expression. If I only saw what was happenning sooner. I put my hand on his cheek and leaned in softly pressing my lips on his.

"P-Pyrrha?" He asked surprised and I took ahold of his hand again. "I'm so sorry for leaving you behind... I thought about everything that happened and I want to tell you one thing. I understand if you want accept since I left you to all that pain alone." He rubbed my cheek with his thumb gently. "I got used to being bullied. The thing that hurted me the most was you trying to get Jaune's attention while he was ignoring you the whole time... I loved you since we were little but you were the only real friend I had... If I were to scare you away by my confession then I'd be all alone. I just my my love hidden..."

A single tear rolled down my cheek again as I leaned in giving him another kiss. It wasn't hot and passionate. It was sweet and gentle. Our lips pressing against each other softly. My best friend from childhood whom I pushed away while he loved me so much. "(Y/N), I love you too... Do you... Still feel the same about me?" He smiled. He did it finally, this single thing I wanted to see after so long. A smile like he used to have when we were younger. "Would I be kissing you if were to reject you... my love?" I giggled and leaned in planting another kiss on his lips. He closed his eyes exhausted and I lied my head on the pillow next to his. I smiled and closed my eyes falling asleep next to my best friend... next to my lover...

"So... daddy was a poor sap back then?" My daughter asked and (Y/N) jaw-dropped. "Who taught you that word?" "Auntie Weiss!" "Figures..." (Y/N) said and turned around while shaking his head with a small chuckle. I giggled at it myself after I finished telling my daughter story of how we actually got together. She looked just like me but with cat faunus ears and tail. I just moved a little to make myself more comfortable on the armchair and corrected my lose clothes.

"Mommy, when will I get my sibling?" She asked poking my big stomache as (Y/N) came back from kitchen with a three glasses of milk and many cookies. He gave us the two and took the third one himself. "Should be around next two months... From what the doctors says it will be a boy. So be ready to be a big and strong older sister!" He said and she cheered happily. " I have to drink a lot of milk and get big so I can protect him!" She quickly gulped down the milk and went for more with both of us laughing, it reminded us of the argue we heard between Ruby and Yang. He came over and pecked the top of my head. "I love you Pyrrha." I giggled petting his ears. "I love you too (Y/N)." He smiled and run his hand gentle over my stomache...
