In the Rockies gorges like this get so little sunlight, that tree would be working hard for it. There is a cylindrical grove of pine trees where I live. When hurricane Sandy hit it broke the cylinder in a 45 degree angle from the top off to the left. What was revealed was a small pine within that had to bend this way and that to get light around the bigger trees. Ended up looking like a cork screw.Β
