Provoked friends make the most bitter enemies: A friend is someone who trusts you. If you were to make an enemy out of a friend, you would not only have to anger that person, you would have to break their trust in you. That will make for a very deeply angered enemy - a person who has more personal reasons to hate then just some random person.

Does it work both ways? Like you explained, if you break your trust with someone and make them angry, would it be the same as if they broke their trust with you and made you angry?
(Sorry if that was confusing, I tend not to make a lot of sense when I try to explain stuff x.x)
