Description
For many applications of automated technology, it's unnecessary to go beyond simplistic drones and maintenance units. In spacefaring exploration vessels venturing into the Inner Rim, synths make for the best pilots and researchers out of any machine or organic selection. Their bodies are easily adaptable to whatever task they need to perform, but it should be noted that in low-gravity environments many synths may accidently bump into hard edges and accrue damage over the next few decades. In the cases of older ships without an organic crew, such low-gravity environments can be a cheap way to save on energy required for common gravity simulation methods. Synths working in such environments should have additional padding or armor to ensure their own safety, either with extra power cells or soft muscles as their tasks require. In the case of organic-cooperative workforces, making sure to "soften up" your metallic crewmates can be a way to avoid injury in collisions. Remember to make sure your inorganic companions are both equipped and designed for both their own work and to streamline the work of their fellows.

Read through the synth wiki and was pleasantly surprised how little guidelines there are, they make protogens look limited. I made this a long time ago using an old chub lora that I previously wrote off as inferior to Symix-based ones, although HighbornFlunky has proven that I was wrong and I may need to reevaluate its strengths... expect some more stuff with it later, got some SyFluff fatties cooking for later. I have a few more gens from this that might get posted, mostly from testing zero-g and spaceship interiors along with trying to recreate those shorts, can't figure out what made them come out like that but I love how they're just slightly too small.
