I painted some 'Elemental Dragons' years ago, which I'm still fond of today. Since I started drawing wolves a few days ago, I've been wanting to do elemental version of those, too!

They're meant to be rough, expressive, 'aethereal' paintings rather than neat and refined character designs.

I was planning to do whole bodies... but I'm not good enough yet at those, so I think I'll do a series of these as just faces, then I'll maybe do them all again with full bodies. We'll see.

Anyway, this is fire! It's meant to express intensity, passion, destruction, and that kind of thing.

There are some parts that I don't like about it... but that applies to everything that I ever do, I suppose. Maybe I'll 'get better' as the series goes on!
