Description

Many people think that it is hardly possible to live in Siberia, especially in the Middle Ages, but this is not so: this is a map of the medieval principalities that were located beyond the Ural Mountains in Siberia.

Многие думают, что в Сибири вряд-ли можно жить, тем более в средние века, но это не так: это карта средневековых княжеств, которые располагались за Уральскими горами в Сибири.

description (for non-Russian speaking):

The names presented on the map are:
"Lyapinskoe", "Obdorskoye", "Kazymskoe", "Kondskoe", "Kondinskoe", "Pelymskoe", "Belogorskoye", "Bardakovo" and "Pegaya Orda" - the state.

"Voguls", "Mansi", "Samoyeds" and "Ostyaks" are ethnic groups of Siberia.

Map name - "Trans-Ural Principality"

Yes!
Most Americans think that Siberia is one giant underpopulated wilderness, where dissidents were exiled by cruel Czars.

Ooh, nice! Is it possible to post a list of the names for each state in the description so that non-Russian speakers can translate it?
