In case you are interested on knowing how I created this image, you can download the .PSD in small resolution to know my step by steps. (please do not post this image in any other place and claim it as your own. I only provide the .psd for those of you that want to know the whole process I used and learn something from it) (.PSD = leaning the basics about lighting and using gradiant colors on the overal image)

I know i am quite late to write a review but i havent been on deviantart as much anymore. i was scanning through my massive collection. I stumbled upon this artwork and i remembered what an impact it made on me. This one made more sense to me as far as the lighting went. I was always curious why you made the two figures set on the right than the center because the background being out of focus it would feel like it would make sense in the center. I really enjoy looking at this image. I even showed it in a slide show in college when the assignment was to give an example of what our degree involves. When i showed this image everyone in that class room was in awe of it. I hope its alright i did that. I think that what is giving me this strong feeling are the color tones. They make it all seem magical and dream-like! And tho is so well done that I look and looked and could not manage to find a single reason to say anything bad about this piece!
I personally think that you wasted your time placing that "Less hate more love" sign in the comments. There is absolutely NOTHING to hate in this piece.
Well, this is the one of my comment. I am very sorry for not being able to your work enough justice. It is worth so much more than i can put into words or images!

Olha, estou encado com essa foto e com a simplicidade do PSD, você faz tudo parecer tão fácil. Essa imagem tem um conceito profissional, que nos transmite múltiplas emoções, realmente sua imagem pode ser considerada perfeita, em todos os perímetros. Falhas são impossíveis de serem identificadas. Essa imagem encantou a todos e tenho certeza que ainda fará muito sucesso. i love the ditails of the owl you din´t forgot the bubbles of the movement for me an artis have this preoccupation it shows a very sensitive side the details some times make the image.~
The vision and the impact are the most work here and this qualities make a pice of art in the photograf art.
the sea it´s a little bit too spleen it needs to be more transperent the sea it´s beutifull you shouldn´t hide it ok?
i know why you did it because the most important is theseahorse and the owl so for me don´t have fails

I may be a little bias because I favor mellow/cool colors, but the color coordination in this piece is beautiful! Auqamarine/ Teal/ Deep-Sea Greens and Golden Browns/ Tans/ Light White-Golds with tents similar to blue and orange contrasts. It's refreshing to see so many variants of a classic contrast. And again being a bit bias, in that I happen to be a Greek Mythology buff, the seahorse, a symbol of Poseidon and the owl, a symbol of Athena, interacting kind of makes sense of this conversational piece, to me at least lol. The obvoius question there would be why the owl is founded under water. I could assume that question would be answered in the break down of your decisions while creating it. On THAT note, I need to go through the links you posted sooo.. Great Work!
