I love how in almost all of your works there is a lot of empty space.. Empty or dark space... which has as much meaning (if not even more) as the objetcs pictured.
There are some films of a cinema director from Lithuania, Sharuna Barthas (hope i spelled it well) which reminds me a lot of some of your works. The same feeling of silence and quiet.

sharunas bartas is the best lithuania's director because his films as you noticed have a lot of emty spaces and silent scenes( but i must say that feeling of silence is not only in his works, it's like lituania's cinema manner), nonethless i saw only one of his works and it calls "freedom".

I'd love to explore other lithuanian directors... but i guess the only name that "arrived" to me is Bartas...
Any other tips ? Where could i buy lithuanian cinema.. dvds ??
