Electric blue glow. Also, the squgglyness of the negitive space in the middle. Would have been less interesting if it was just oval/circle.

Woah, weird, I've been playing with the Julia variation too, just haven't submitted anything. It's a lot of fun, I love the shapes it generates.
This is nice, your recent works are really different from your others and I like them.

yes .. i used 10 transforms, its the most ive ever used, & being influenced by the julia variation it mirrored them to make 20.., then I manipulated them into place to create the dna strand

Nice! I am really liking this one. Very nice fractal version of a cell, not only because it looks cool, it is also easy to see that it is a fractal. I like the glow too.

I find nothing wrong with 2.03c yet...

Oh i have.. the last 4 versions of apo all hang when i got to render the image about 9 outta 10 times.... i render at 3200x2400 quality 1000, filter 0.4 oversample 2... and i have the latest dual core PC with 2 gigs of ram.... pisses me off to no end
