Entrophy: a thermodynamic quantity representing the unavailability of a system's thermal energy for conversion into mechanical work, often interpreted as the degree of disorder or randomness in the system

Every time I look at this, I see something wonderful I missed one minute ago. I hope I can eventually stop looking into it and take notice of my housework, or brushing my teeth, or even making my bed. This is simply wonderful, fantastic, delightful and I will never play one-upsmanshiip with you. I know I could never top this.

I am not art-literate enough to give you an artistic critique, but I will try to tell you something about the effects this work has on my senses and imagination.

There is nothing "real" contained within the view to make size comparisons, but I "feel" like this is something massive. It is like a great and beautiful city that was built by lovers of grace and balance.

It is well named. Like its name, it appears to be collapsing upon itself, but it is still beautiful. There is an urge to prop it up, make it go back in time to where it once had the precise, hard won balance, but I would not want to change a thing, because I "feel" that at every stage of this structure's existence, even when it has completely collapsed, it will still be beautiful and majestic, almost sacred.

I recognize this is a fractal, not something you designed with paper and pencil, but a kind of random electronic reaction to electronic commands. But it took your awareness of when the elements were beautifully arranged, and how they were manipulated to arrive at this stage of balanced wonderment and beauty.

The thing that makes it appear so massive, I think is the contrast and the structure creating a sense of depth that goes a long, long way. And the highlights seem to reflect bright light source on a top layer, then fading far, far and farther away into the darkness.

About an inch and a half in from the lower left hand side, there's a tiny little speck of darkness that suggests a tiny little human shaped thing, with two tiny little legs. The tiny little black image is at the base of that most vertical structure (could be like a street lamp) closest to the lower left corner. Do you see those tiny little could be legs? I could imagine this creation huge enough to have the average human being that small in comparison.

My son does fractal art work when the mood strikes him, so I am not unfamiliar with fractals. I cannot even understand the language of fractals and I am too old to take classes.

So, I really don't know how ya did it, but I'm glad ya did!
I love it. Hope I haven't said too much and also hope this fits, somehow, into a vague definition of a critique.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. Ps there are a huge amount of tutorials here @ and on the web if you would like to learn how to make fractals
