Description
I had recently read an article about Wojtek the Brown Bear, who fought with Polish troops in Italy during World War II and became a kind of Polish national hero. Of course there are some rather unlikely legends about him.The used 3D models (cap, weapon etc.) don't fit together of course, but that's not my point.
The first picture here is strongly inspired by a comic that doesn't play in World War II but in a fictional fantasy world => Anna and Wojtek (Stonemaier Games PR stonemaiergames.com/games/scyt… )

Hätte auch nicht gedacht, dass ich so "nah" an das Comicbild rankomme und es so gut klappt.
Der Bär ist etwas kuscheliger als das Original.
Kannte die Geschichte vor dem Artikel auch nicht. Wollte eig. mal meine 2-3 poln. Bekannten fragen, ob die sie kennen, auch wenn sie hier aufgewachsen sind.

I can understand it, but unfortunately it was the only halfway fitting hat I had at my disposal. Just like the rifle is actually a US weapon. If I had more talent with texturing and modeling I would have changed all that.

I know and I undersand, but believe me, its jsut that it would be better to have no hat at all than the one with red soviet star, because of history... I just want to let you know for the future, Polish people can be really sensitive about stuff like that (because, again, history).
I'm happy non the less that someone took interest in intereting facts from Polish history.
And Wojtek was the best, we even have patriotic t-shirts with him

You do not tell more nonsenses. Soviet troops saved Europe, Slavs of Jews from fascism. You learn a real story, according to documents. At me all grandfathers were involved in World War II. Child....

Unfortunately I had to work with what I had at my disposal and in contrast to SFM I don't have a huge amount of WKII models available. Therefore US weapon and Soviet cap and clothes which look halfway suitable. So let's call it creative freedom.

Awwww, ich möchte ihn knuddeln, er sieht so fluffig und süß aus... und wahrscheinlich gefährlich. In Verbindung mit ihr und ihrem eisernen Gesichtsausdruck wird die Szene wirklich intensiv. Super geworden

Bei den Kommentaren zählen meine Antworten wohl auch mit und die 4 Spam die ich gemeldet habe? Gefühlt bekomme ich nur so blöde Spam Kommentare, wenn das Bild halbwegs erfolgreich ist und bei "Hot" etc. weiter oben auftaucht.
Aber das Verhältnis Fav + Kommentare ist schon ganz nett, im Vergleich zu manchen anderen Bildern mit 2000 Favs die trotzdem nur 40 Kommentare oder so haben.
