Hello there, it’s FIIEEEEND / as the Santa Ana WIIIIIIINDS~
Everyone’s favorite necromaniac gremlin playing at being everyone’s favorite personification of an atmospheric phenomenon. I think I’ve mentioned before how I’m constantly holding myself back from drawing musical sequences, well. I had an excuse THIS TIME, to test out Affinity Photo. In the wake of Adobe’s warning shot this week, it’s definitely time to start familiarizing ourselves with the viable competitors.

God I live in OC and I was so pleasantly surprised to see some Hell Breeze (TM) representation from Fiend. What a perfect character to represent this horrible horrible pathogenic fungus spreading, ionizing, blowing-birds-out-of-trees Foehn wannabe.

Its honestly such an amazing program-- its not free but if you wait for when they have a sale, PRO usually goes for like 25 USD!

OHOHOO YEAH I actually have a copy-- I love that lasso coloring and how drastically you can mess with the interface. Just never really messed with it much outside the job I got it for/uhhh as compensation for.
I think it's just overwhelming, like I seem to PREFER the fact that PS/Affinity are made for photo editing and I can ignore most of the features? BUT YOU'RE RIGHT THOUGH, it's worth more futzing with.
