Description
Seeing as it is a reference, I didn’t redo the lines in SAI, so the lines that you see are a bit rough, that’s also because of my shaky hands.

Explanations for each number in the pic are below;

1) Front view of Aether. You can see that he has gray eyes (the color in the 3rd circle). And, as a mechanic, his face and fur are usually, or almost always a bit dirty with some kind of motor oil, as so as his shirt and jacket. Do not forget that odd-looking orange fur next to both of his eyes!^^

2) Back view. Aether has a total of 10 quills, with 8 on his head and 2 on his back. He also has a tail that looks like Sonic’s.

3) Aether’s eyewear. Its design came directly from Sonic’s eyes shape, since Aether found out that the shape has excellent aerodynamics. The eyewear doesn’t have straps, because the metal inside was made to attract Aether’s magnetic body. So he can just put it on without worrying about it falling down. Aether always has this eyewear on his forehead whenever he’s not driving.

4) Aether’s watch. He has this one (with a screen on it) at his left wrist, and has an almost identical one (but without screen) on his right wrist. It has some kind of sand-glossy color coating on it. It has been said that the left one is a mini computer, but no one is sure, though.

5) One of his gloves. It is made out of artificial black leather.

6) His jacket. The brown part is made from the same material as the gloves. The gray part is made of warm, soft cloth, which is usually dirty. Note that the holes you see inside are where Aether sticks his quills out.

7) His sleeveless shirt which he wears under the jacket. Usually dirty as well. The holes inside serves the same purpose as the holes inside the jacket.

8) His belt. The front part has copper color, but made entirely out of steel.

9) His dark blue jeans (the color in the 9th circle). Around the knees parts are a bit worn-out.

10) Under view of one of his boots. The full view of the boots can be seen in the full-body pic. He has a sky blue ring around each of his boot’s ankles. These rings mystically glow whenever Aether uses his magnetic ability. The intensity depends on the amount of power he’s using, the more, the brighter. The green part of the boot is made out of some kind of jelly-plastic, which surprisingly, doesn’t serve any purpose other than decorations. The rest of the boots is made out of cloth.

*) A doodle on how Aether will look like wearing his eyewear and driving his bike. The eyewear cannot be seen through, only reflections can be seen.
