POETIC WANKY DESCRIPTION: a thousand birds all tweeting and chattering their excitement to see a new day, the entire forest gets flooded in this thick, pinkish light at sunrise that shines through the mist, giving it a more physical almost ethereal form.

THE REALITY: I had just spent the night with bugs crawling over my face and Wombats charging past my head to fight each other while laying in an escarpment full of fine, silty dust that coated me like flour - I'd had no sleep and all those chirpy birds pissed me off with how well rested and alert they were.

A picture might speak a thousand words, but those words usually belong to whoever's viewing it and omit the 10,000 words describing circumstances surrounding that image.

I think.

Thanks to xgisxgis wanting me to look through my camera rolls for more artwork, causing me to flick through over 3,000 photos I've not looked at for a while and while I did not find a bunch of forgotten drawings, I *did* find a slew of photos with backstories thematically opposed to simply whatever is in frame when the photo was taken.
