my friends helped me collect tabs.... thanks guys!its a choker and the small picture is the matching bracelet... i know a lot of people do these but whatever...
the tabs are held together by glow in the dark rexlace.... the blacklight shot is here [link]

I made the rainbow one you fav'd a long time ago, but I have another one held together with orange zip ties....it looks a little more punk but if you're interested you should google it

feel free to make some... i actually saw a picture of a bracelet somewhere (but with ribbon) and thats how i got the idea to try it...
for both the bracelet and the necklace, i put it on... then weave the ends through the tabs for an inch or so the way i would if i was still making the tab chain... that way the tabs sorta lock together... sometimes thats enough to make it stay, other times the ends need to just be tied ... it depends on what you use for the "string".. the rexlace is pretty sturdy without tying... in the picture, i was lazy and just tied them though

I have seen stuff like this, but no one else used your weave technique- it looks awesome! I may have to copy it, lol....

ya i like the X weave too... it is a little harder though since you need to keep track of which string goes under and which over in each X.... i saw it on someones belt once and couldnt resist trying hehe you should go right ahead and spread the X!
