XD EEh~ If not for that nasty bus ride, Orin might not have been born~Ahh, Orin... he who fries the insides of annoying people/things with his purple-orange flames of death~ X3 I love him so~
I'll keep the name 'Orin' for now (might find a better one later).
Sketching is fun... specially when they're tiny doodles... It's a 0.4 ink pen on lined notepaper again. Just some simple studies to get a better feel of the creature.
I especially like the 1st one at the bottom row (where he's walking) and the one where pandachan is reaching up to him with the (
) speechbubble X3 Oh, and the one where she's cuddling his face XD Baahhahah...anwayz, just enjoy simplicity... I've gotta research more on dragon/animal anatomy and their body armor... I've taken photographs of boiled chicken feet too... y'know... cos of the way the skin on the legs are layered like scales... and..... yes... i have no life~

I really like this design, it's like creepy, but pretty too. This page looks like something you'd do at an enclosure in the zoo, or while trying to get your cat to stand still for 2 secs.

even thought this creature is totaly ficticious (if such a word exists) the atomical work you've done on it is fantastic. the scetch with pandachan tryingto reach up to orin is just pricless.

I think good references would be big cats and also large dogs such as great danes.. though i dont know where you'd be able to study their movements .__.'' hmm.. i guess an online search could help.

this is soo sweet man, you have a good understanding of muscles, bones and othersuch things in the character!
i just remembered, on the plane over to spain the almighty grossest person sat next to me, he must have been like a thousand years old, stank like sweat and too much liquor and was sallow and just plain gross. iยดd seen him before i got on the place when he and his equally gross friends were looking over at me! i felt so nautious throughout the whole flight, and clung to my friend for dear life!
why those seats on planes so small and horribly close together! WHY!!!???
