I remember that part when turning into an 8-Bit version of Mario. It seems, however, that it has become somewhat of a running gag in the Mario console RPG games, though Super Paper Mario kinda flushed that easter egg down the toilet a bit with the 8-Bit Starman item.
But regardless, i like what i'm seeing.
