AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA *pant, pant, pant*AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA*pant, pant, pant*AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH MY GOD! I hate you so much, Bitch!Kyuubi looks amazing! How could you! *sobs* Your skills have just totally kicked my ass so bad. I feel horrible now cause all I have up on my page is some of my crappy drawings, no cosplay to be seen at all, but such is the joy of overhauling a page Now tell me, as a fellow kyuubi lover, and future Kyuubi cosplayer: did you do all nine tails? cause it's hard to tell in the pictures. If you did do all nine tails, how did you suport the weight of them all, was it like a belt under the outfit or what? and how much fabric did you use? You said the hem was 12 feet long; good lord girl. But regardless, thankees for the inspiration to finally finish Kyuu-chan, now I gotta go find Jiraiya and kick his ass. As a muse he sucks for pretty much everything except dirrty thoughts >_< Later days!

I do apologize for my super late reply, as i just saw your comment today for the first time. Yes, i did in fact make all 9 tails. They are all hand sewn with very heavy duty thread and i went over each seam twice. They weigh around 8 pounds or so and they are supported by a heavy duty leather belt hidden underneath the obi. as far as how much fabric i used...i cannot fully remember. it was probably somewhere close to 6 yards for the dress alone.

*squeals* I finally got around to making my Kyuubi cosplay. In retrospect I think I should have made my tails a little skinnier cause they weigh something in the area of 5-6 pounds and are held up by two plain belts. Mega awkward to get around with as well. I took up the whole back seat of our car when travelling to the con. I may haul her out again, but I think I'll have to come up with a better way of supporting the weight. Back to the drawing board I guess.

That is amazing work! The hours put into that costume must have been long and hard.
You truly look love as the Kyuubi!
Your poses are quite alluring.

Now that is an amazing dress and cosplay! I'm very very much impressed to say the least. Wasn't it dull to cosplay as someone no one recognized, tho?

thank you! ^.^ glad you like it. surprisingly enough, no. it wasn't dull at all. i had tons of fun with it, and there were 2 people who actually did recognize me as kyuubi ^__^ one of the people even mentioned you. even if no one had recognized me it wouldn't have bothered me at all. i worked hard on the costume and i was gonna show it off regardless >w<

yeshie i made it! ^.^ all by myself too! one of my first costumes entirely done on my own. the hem and the collar gave me hell tho...the hem is 12 feet long on the bottom [it has a train >w<] and the thread kept breaking...then with the collar on the top, i sewed everything PERFECTLY then when i tried it on it was too loose so i had to go back and take out half of the stitching so that i could put darts in it >.< and it wasn't as good afterwards...
oh noes! not my sewing skills! >w<
