Description Not that grim, not that dark
A myriad of heavenly hues
Footsteps beckon from the hall.
Shall I accept? Shall I refuse?

Silken amber on one horizon,
Darkness on the one behind
A silver crescent rising fast
A sight to those who are blind

What creature lurks beyond
Just to see what lies after?
Silence cries to be heard.
Respite from all the laughter

"When was death this sweet?"
The question upon a face
Feel it as it draws you near
Towards Winter's warm embrace
