Introducing Lester, who's not really a member of Kit's team but an important character in the story nevertheless.
Lester the Greater Bilby ( Macrotis lagotis) is a former lightweight boxing champion and Kit Wallaby’s coach. Despite his gruff exterior and constant claims that he hates kids, he seems to genuinely care about his young prodigy...though by no means does he go easy on her. In spite of his small stature, he’s extremely tough, with lightning-fast fists and a temper to match. He’s so fast that he may just possess a touch of superspeed, though it doesn't hold a candle to that of Sonic the Hedgehog. Lester refuses to share his age or background with anyone, though he is proud to claim longtime friendship to Kit’s late father.

Hmmm...his character design was a long process. Species, ages, etc. got tossed around a great deal before it was officially finalized. I guess it'd be around late November, early December. Maybe earlier.

I did try making his arms skin-coloured, but I just didn't think it looked good against the grey...I appreciate your feedback immensely, though!
