I just got back from watching 'AVP' (same complaints as everyone else, but not too shabby) and just thought I'd sketch my favorite hunter alien of all time. I don't have reference with me so some things are off (didn't felt like putting in the shoulder plasma-cannon) but this would mark my very, very, *first* movie inspired fanart.Predator rocks. I call him Predie. XD
Drooled the whole movie through at the shiny blade weapons. (I *so* want one of the discs--which I like to call Predator Shuriken XD And I also *so* want a working Wrist-Blade of my own. Then again, who doesn't?
)Another thing... I kept on feeling I'm step away from drawing Shredder from TMNT... O_o;

That's actualy what it's called "Predator Shuriken", the directors had a short movie when they showed the weapons and told what each1 was.

good sketch. i especially like the dull color. it makes Predator looks mysterious and less evil. the gray armor makes Predator looks like one of those crusaders in silver armor sometime found in gothic comic. btw, (i think) the left arm is a little out of proportion.

Yea I can see the Shredder but Predator was the first thing on my mind when I saw it. Without any reference I think you did pretty well. Great colors and shading. I've always wondered though, whats up with them and the fish nets? Just put some high heels on them and they would be look'en pretty skanky.
