I am very fascinated by the Elric brothers' strong bound to each other shown during the series, that's truly brotherly love and I cannot remember it has ever been expressed this great in any other show.That might be why FMA is so touching and unique to me, it's a lot about feelings and dreams.

grin* i like the series too. i also like that it's so human, and doesn't herolise the hero too much, but make edward has his weak points.
i rather like your colours, they have depth and textures. i am very bad at those unless it's pencils, lol.

Yes! That's the point I love most about the series, most of the anime characters are really superficial and seem not to have any personality at all. FMA is definitly different there.

In the movie, Alphonse has long hair bound to a ponytail and also wears clothes like Edward did in the original series.

uhhh the brotherhood thingie is the anime, but being closer to the manga..I donΒ΄t really know in what chapter does brotherhood end so I canΒ΄t really tell you if I have read all the story until then!

Brotherhood is like a remake of the whole series just that Edward actually GROWS (YES) and there is also a different ending which I like more. And it's more epic at all.
I recommend watching it, there is a Spanish translation on youtube, i have to watch it in english because they deleted the person's account who had it in German, lucky you. D:

Yes I agree. Brotherhood is so much better though I also thought it couldn't be a lot better. But it was and I think people feel so positive about it because of the ending of brotherhood.

And yes, the story seemed a lot more coherent and the ending was incredibly satisfying. That said, I was a huge fan of the first series when it came out.
