Society has a name for when a man is out of shape. Recently called a 'Dad Bod' but if a female is out of shape it's considered to be outside of perceived social norms. I get what the post is trying to say. I think. Anyway I was a small kid and actually got asked if I ate or not? Wtf, lol.
Perhaps they need to change the sizing conventions?

Maybe, not sure what that would be, though. Or if anyone would go through with it...

for your information, i am naturally a size 0 resulting from my small bones and fast metabolism.
according to my genetics, i was also born in a family of slim-jims.

Here's a fact: It is quite possible to naturally be a size "0". I am in good health, eat normally and I am a size "0". Size discrimination is a two way street. You cannot judge what it is like to have another metabolism (or the judgmental shit that goes with it).
I respect and admire people with bodies of many sizes. Do the same.

It's all good. I once read that spiders had their eyes under their armpits and I believed it for years...then I told some people and they pointed out the obvious and laughed at me. Such is life. :-P

Augh but if they get rid of size 0 NOTHING WILL EVER FIT ME. I will be that small chick in the too-big pants for her constantly ulling them up every few steps. Oh, right, but I totally starve myself. I understand Anorexia is serious, but it normally doesn't have as much to do with size and media as people claim, but is very psychological. goodness.

sorry for sounding angry, I am tired of both extremes of the argument. I am grateful for size 00 because of all the vanity sizing out there too ;-;

And I'm sorry if I offended you. The stamp was intended to rally against people who think that "extreme thinness is in" or something like that. I understand that anorexia/buliema is a serious psychological problem, but I feel the media should STOP MAKING EXTREME THINNESS A GOOD THING. >_<
Thank you for your time and your comments, I really appreciate it.

Ehh, media doesn't do that too much imho, except for the celebrities themselves. The size 0 and rail-thin models was really just catwalk type stuff, so the clothes could be well-displayed and some idiots took it for meaning that size 0 is chic. Some people are stupid, I guess. I just know that if size 0 no longer existed I would be a sad puppy with clothes falling off left and right xD I do see what you're saying in a sense, although those with anorexia normally do have some sort of past trauma and feel a huge need to find control, and so obsessively control food intake. The media probably doesn't help, though. I do think fad dieting is stupid, too though. Fun Fact: Marilyn Monroe had a 22-23" waist, that of a sample size 0 (Also, the size of an average 8-year-old). Most size 0s in store size charts have a 24-25" waist, larger than what is advertised as the standard. Vanity sizing is difficult. The media is a friend to no man lol.

True, but logically, shouldn't 0 not even exist? Eh, never mind, that kinda stuff's too complicated for me anyway.
And this stamp was aimed towards people who starve themselves to be thin. Hope I didn't offend anybody.

The size 0 was the worst thing fashion has ever come up with. That along with kiddie stilletos. Seriously, is the media asking people to abuse their bodies?!

I totally agree.... its not healthy to be 10 or more pounds under the weight of what your doctor recommends either. Being skin and bones is not pretty when you look like a skeleton.....
