Don't laugh. I haven't drawn in...well, basically forever.A sketch of my desk. The odd-looking thing in the upper-left corner is my subwoofer/hat-holder. I love my hat. It's black, fedora-ish, with a band of paisley bones in white. On the inside are skulls. It is my awesome ska hat.
I always keep a book at that exact part of my desk. My bed is off to the left, so it's usually a comic book that I'm reading before going to sleep. Right now, it's Persepolis.

That it is. It's weird, but even after the movie came out, I didn't find many people who read the book. It's a shame, really.

Yup. They made the graphic novel (unless there's another book called Persepolis) into a movie last year. It won all sorts of awards, but since it was only subtitled from the original French, it didn't show up in too many places in America.
The book told more stories, and paid a lot of attention to details, but the movie was extremely vivid and emotional. I definitely recommend it.
