But may be you are from Russia but even in this case you definitly can visit georgia without any problem. THere all the people we met made clearly the difference between the russian and russian gouvernement. The russian Culture in general is still very popular there. We met many russian tourist or inhabitant there and told us there were no problem for them.

i am russian yes, my famliy lived in georgia for some time and they were not treated very nicely, they had to leave. Otherwise, I love that culture a lot and love mine a lot, but the current situation is making everything just terrible. Don't like either mine or their governmeent.. and to be honest.. I dont care about government when it comes to areas I like, but too many people can be brainwashed by all kinds of things and aggression grows.. It did grow, to be honest. Both for us and for them.

i'm surprise to hear that. We met a russian young girl who was in tbilisi since 3 month without any problem she would flew back to moscow get an other visa and came back. But it was in Tbilisi so may be situation in the country side where every body know everybody is different. But the situation will not stay like that forever your both culture and spirit and too near to stay enemy
