Description
A popular character but maybe not as well known, Candyman was an artist who fell in love with the wrong girl. her father and a gang of friends chased and beat him, cutting off his painting hand and smothered him in honey so the near by bees would sting him to death. from then on repeating his Candyman 5 times in the mirror will summon him, a hook in place of his missing hand which he uses to split you from groin to gullet. This stamp is part of my Horror Stamp Series, My attempt to create a stamp for all the iconic monsters of horror and their fans. This is an on going series and I have many more still to make, but due to being a self employed artist there is only so much i can do. I'll add more when time permits me. The first movie was one of the best horror movies I've ever seen. It has a deep, sad story and I felt sorry for candyman...great job on the painting and stamp.

Yeah the bloody mary story was the influence for this. the movie was based off of a short story by Clive Barker, my favorite writer

i agree, Tony Todd is a true legend, been a fan ever since i saw him in these and The Crow. True you'd think they would mention Helen in them after the epic original.

I've never seen the movie (cuz im a pussy when it comes to horror movies, but i'll only watch the Chucky movies) but i saw a clip which would not let me sleep!
It was the part where the main girl wakes up on the bathroom floor and walks into the apartment with a be-headed Rotweiler and a mother screaming for her dead baby

lol yeah that movie is pretty awesome, with not seeing all of it you missed a cool scene where Candyman opens his mouth and hundreds of bees are crawling inside, he then procedes to kiss the woman from the bathroom floor

same here but most of the remakes I've seen so far have left me either angry or dissapointed(except for the ft13th remake as mentioned.

yeah most of them have left me feeling the same way, the ones that i love though are friday the 13th, the texas chainsaw masascre, TCM the beginning and i think that is it so far
