This is a finished illustration in colouring pencils from a children's book I wrote for a uni project earlier this year. Its an ongoing project but eventually there with be a finished version all in colouring pencils. The story itself is about a little girl who wakes up in the middle of the night and finds a unicorn in her back garden. The unicorn is modelled on a Shetland pony called Timmy and the little girl in the book is really my little sister.Related content

I was going to say this looks like a children's book illustration before reading the comment. Really nice job, I love the soft feel, the off center position of the unicorn, the cute little stubby horn and the fact that it is brown, like a real colt/ foal destined to be white one day. Excellent work. Good luck with your project.
