It was quiet Sunday afternoon, in the Hidden Leaf Village. Naruto, Hinata, Boruto, and Himawari, were enjoying the sweet tranquility of this beautiful day. Everything was going great. Until the horrible tragedy that has befallen for Boruto. His mom and dad have just bought him a strawberry ice cream, with a small dash of sprinkles. They talked together, walking down the streets of the Hidden Leaf, when suddenly his hand slipped. Causing the ice cream to fall down onto the ground, head first. It was hard to take in, at first. But it quickly changed, as small tears escaped from Boruto's eyes. He was sad, crying at the possibility of ruining the gift that his mother and father had given him. With her mothers instinct kicking into high gear, Hinata kneels down next to him. As she calmly said to Boruto, "It's alright, Boruto. It's nothing to be sad about." Then she kissed his forehead. Finally calming the young Uzumaki to form a smile. "Thank you Mama." he said. As they talked, Naruto was having a hard time trying to hold Himawari up, as she moves around. "Hinata. Himawari won't stop moving around." Naruto said, laughing as he tries to hold her up right. Hinata stands back up and holds onto Himawari. Her squirming stops as she snuggles to her mother. "There you go Himawari." she whispered, snuggling her until she took a nap in her arms. Naruto thanks Hinata by giving her a kiss on her cheek. "You're an amazing mother, Hinata." he said. Hinata gives her thanks by kissing his cheek as well. "And you're an amazing father, Naruto." Boruto gagged, as his mom and dad started to have another something that he calls, "Cootie moments.' Naruto and Hinata giggled by their son. Who is yet to find out what love can mean in the world. Naruto then said to Boruto, "Hey, Boruto. How about we get you another ice cream cone?" He asked. Boruto smiles with glee. "Yeah!" So they all go to the ice cream shop. Where the clerk already had his new ice cream cone ready to go. Free of charge.
