Early Warning:I received a new printer/scanner for the b-day at the end of December and I still haven't gotten happy with how scanning has come out. So you'll note a difference in drawing scans for awhile here till I figure out what the hell I'm doing wrong...
...other than drawing in the first place.

Alright, as the title says, this one is majorly a WIP and very early.
It's technically a design sketch for a side-project I have in mind...as a hint, any Streets of Rage/Bare Knuckle fans around?
It's supposed to be Eternal Champions' acrobat fighter Jetta Maxx...this time in a modern (90s?) outfit and design, yet still retaining a similar feel/theme to her original outfit (such as the ribbons, bladerang, bladed bracelets etc). But also supposed to be a more practical update for a contemporary look (I know it's hard to tell, but she's got a split skirt - ripped biker shorts combo on there).
The text on her (single) sleeve reads 'MAXX'. I might also like to add more accessories (earrings, maybe a chain similar to her 'belt chain' around her neck or such).
I'm really unsure of this design, but I do like it generally. Might ditch the leg ribbons though and just stick with her bladed anklets.
Yet again, this is a very early WIP. Open to suggestions and feedback.

See, I'm trying to make it so she'd 'fit in' today. Yet, I want her to still resemble her original look enough to make it so you go: 'Hey, that's Jetta!'. ^^
And I've already hinted enough what might be in mind regarding SoR/BK...if things fit.

I hate it when new equipment doesn't work as it should. But your drawing skills haven't suffered a bit, Psylisia.
And yes, I'm a SoR/BK fan, and I think a modern Jetta would look great in something like that. I'm glad to see you're bringing Jetta back!

Heh, well, hopefully the idea will work out...Jetta definitely deserves a little more exposure, since Sega ditched EC (and SoR/BK, for that matter

Well I do know there's some kind of SoR remake out there that's pretty good. But seriously, who wouldn't want to see our favorite Eternal Champions in a SoR style game? (And please, oh please, don't even THINK about mentioning Chicago Syndicate. Since when is my outfit green?!)

Excellent job! Her clothes look great and the shading is very good! I think you're right, she would look even better with earrings and a chain. As for the leg ribbons, I don't think you should get rid of them!

I definitely want some earrings, although I'm unsure on the neck-chain. Don't want to make it easy for her to be choked by her out trinkets. ^^
I'm still unsure on the leg ribbons though. Sure they'd look good blowing in the wind, but perhaps I should just keep her lower legs bare (cept the bladed anklets)...really unsure.

Hmmm...well, if you're unsure about the chain, you could give her a necklace or a small medallion around the neck that wouldn't draw too much attention. As for the leg ribbons, perhaps you should get rid of them! Since I think many artists and fans of your art would agree that she would look much better with bare legs!

I love it! And I love her new design. ^_^ The skirt idea is really kool. I wonder what it would look like if the back of the skirt went to the ankles. *Like Tifa's new design in FF7:AC*
But I think she looks great the way she is now.

I hope to use this design for a bit actually, although I'm unsure of the skirt length. It might actually look better as a little shorter...

I kind of remember the game (been a very long time since played) and I have to say I dig the look alot.

Well, you can always check my gallery for pics of Jetta in her original EC attire, of course. As for SoR, well, it's (sorta) a secret...if I can even pull it off.
