Here's a nostalgic one. A tall, leggy female character brandishing some ninja stars as she glares at you.Bonus points if you can identify her and what game she's from. One minor hint is that the name Nikki is NOT a hint (she's actually nameless, Nikki just suits her
) of who this ninja (?) is.Personally, I like the pose and especially the semi-pissed, semi-bored-with-you expression...I think it fits the character. ^^
Wanted to draw her for a long time.

i know this character -
she's a nameless boss from the arcade game shadow dancer, the sequel to the original shinobi. she throws projectiles that boomerang around: one single hit spells the end for joe musashi. if you manage to beat her, your reward for surviving such a difficult boss battle is a quick flash of her bare foot
i'm thrilled to find artwork of such an obscure character. she looks fantastic! the pose is very sexy, the hand holding the shuriken is very well done, and the details are great, like how her toes peek out from the low cut vamp of the shoes.

Heh, heh. After seeing that you had drawn the final boss from the same game, I knew you would've recognized this one.
Yep, Nikki here (I dunno why I dubbed her that...I think it slightly fits, and it's easier to connect a name with a character ^^ ) was the tough third boss, tossing spinning and oddly flying weaponary while having a (ki?) shield blocking most of your stars between her attacks.
And yes, another reason why I remembered her was her 'defeat animation'. She twirls and trips on those high heels of hers (odd footwear for a 'ninja boss'), emits a really cute yell and slips into the water, leaving one of her loose fitting heels shoes behind as the last thing you see is her exposed foot splashing in.
Thanks very much for the comments on the pic itself...I always liked this character, and I had to try and get it nice an accurate to her design and, I'd imagine, her personality. And yes, the toes/shoes was deliberate to hint that little scene from the game.

At any rate, Nikki's cute when she's angry, but I don't think we'd like her in person when she's angry. (Although frankly having her kick me with those heels... hmmm?)
