Suddenly, as if some great force was pulling at her lungs, her song was taken. Her once proud fins ripped in two. And just like that, she became what she always wanted: human.

This one is another self-explainatory peice. It's the part where the naive mermaid visits the sea hag and becomes human. The actual description in the book. .was horrible. You guys should read it sometime. .XDD I wanted to keep the hag an octopus. .because i mean. .tentaclees are fun to draw. .XDDD

Done all in charcoal and pastels. Afterward. I realized I could have just done all pastels instead of both. .but I dont think black pastels are as dark as charcoal. . -shrug- XD
