.....i like jared's weird noises. >_>This is for my BFF ~lianaladrid who asked ages ago to be in one of my 30STM comics. eh, this isn't so much 30STM as poking fun at Jared, but it's good enough.
started doing this last summer but only got around to finish it now...and i updated the fellas' looks to somewhat like their current ones while i was at it. xD
(and yup DaiArt is gonna be my new tag on all my 30STM related pics; it's my art community on LJ. Won't link to it but search for it if you want to. Read the rules carefully before you watch or join it, though - it's not for everyones liking)

Oyea speaking of which, do u know the story behind L490? I mean why did Shannon write that song, wuz it cuz he was bored or did he wanna prove Jared that he writes songs too? N why the name L490? does he have sumthin 2 do with the drug or sumthin?

Night of the Hunter is amazing!!! You can hear it on their Youtube with lyrics and everything, lol they should do that with their earlier albums too! xP [link] Crossing my fingers that it'll be the next single!! *__* The scream took awhile to get used to.. i love it but it sounds weird xD It sounds better in the dance remix though (not on the album, but you can hear it here: [link] love it just as much as the original!
Don't know the story behind L490 but it's all Shannon's work and it had the working title Equinox before he settled for L490. I've heard he played everything on it including the guitar but I heard from another source that Tomo did some/all of the guitar work too, so... But Shan did the rest for sure. It's such a beautiful instrumental song but the intro to it is a bit too long.. (50 seconds, wtf Shannon?) You can hear it here: [link]
I saw a comment on one of your comics about the tibetan monks chanting at the end, and that's something that the whole band was in charge of. I think it ties in with the end of the first album when Shannon reads his and Jared's version of the Art of War (hidden track, you can hear it here: [link] ). I have the translation of the chant courtesy of a friend of mine on LJ but am too lazy to search for it now, lol sorry xD
I think the title might have to do something with the drug; certainly can't be a coincidence. Appearantly the drug is something Jared takes for his gout that he got because of what he did for the film Chapter 27.

I listened 2 Night Of The Hunter yesterday... I LOVE BOTH VERSIONS XD is his scream the 1 in the second verse?

i think it was the comic where Jared is mistaken for That Horrible Sparkly Thing Whose Name I Won't Mention.

and about the L490 comic i wuz planning Shannon wuz going 2 show Jared that he can make songs too... n he was bored... n he grabbed a guitar n played a song n accidentally made a good melody n told Tomo n he tried playing it n they spazzed cuz it sound so good.
then they showed Jared (who was taking L490 for his movie like u told me) n they played the song in front of him... n he liked it... only now Shannon needs a name... so he saw the drug Jared was holding n he finally named the song XD
then again if u have better ideas u can edit it.
