Description Here's a sketch I did today. Some of you may remember that I won the Gnomon Workshop art contest a few months ago. This is from one of the Feng Zhu DVD's I received.

The difference here is that I went all digital with Corel Painter, whereas he was using pen and markers.

Thanks mate. His technique is very difficult to replicate digitally. The hardest part was probably fighting off the urge to use the straight line tool vs drawing the lines by hand. But it's practice, right?

yeh i hear that, its much harder for some reason doing a straight line digitally for some reason but the lines always look better in the end then using the shift key for the lines. keep it up anyway man, your stuff is awesome

Tonight I started a new Feng study (from his Gnomon Workshop Concept Design Volume 2 DVD), but this time I used Autodesk Sketchbook Pro. That program has a nifty ruler tool that pivots. So you set the anchor to your VP and then move the other anchor around the page for perfect receding lines. I forgot how easy that software was to use.
