My Rarity (My Little Pony) cosplay that debuted at Anime Weekend Atlanta 2012.

T. Geist Photography and Art was kind enough to offer an impromptu photoshoot in the atrium, hence the lighting & my change of shoes (I was wearing heels that matched the dark blue of the Cutie Mark, but took them off to enjoy the con atmosphere)

This is the first formalwear I've ever attempted to make & while I have a lot of room to grow, I'm proud of myself for attempting it. I love Rarity & I wanted to create a classy & elegant look to represent her.

I am SO embarrassed about the wig! I didn't read where it said it was "heat resistant" and so it was very difficult to style any sort of curl in. I thought I'd achieved a decent twirl, but by the time T. Geist approached me, it had already fallen out.

I was uncomfortable due to my recent weight gain, but I love MLP so I'd love to re-try my attempt to do her justice ^_^
