Crintus isn't really based off of anything except me thinking it sounds funny. But the krampus is one of santas original helpers, known for dragging little kids to hell and giving them lashings lol.

I read something about it (Krampus), seemingly European related and around thze start of December.
Around thze time of Sinterklaas (Netherlands and Europe alike), but i did not know it also was/is related to Santa Claus.
