Designed in 1921 as the first Gunboat to operate in Pteroslavia's many inland rivers and lakes, as well as in the Black and Baltic Sea. 53 were built from 1921 to 1927.
Armed Lightly, it was, however, fast, and could respond quickly to threats on the waterfront. At a rather low weight, it was able to go over or through many passes that other, larger combat vessels could not.

All but 6 Survived the Interwar period to serve Pteroslavia in WWII

KK-1 was lost to an engine malfunction on a military exercise in the Black Sea
KK-25 and 32 were lost in the short engagement with the Greek Navy near the Bosporus
KK-49, 50, 51, and 52 were sold to China in 1925
