Portrait of an original character of mine, Molly Pitcher. If you follow my sketchblog ([link] ) you've seen her quite a bit.

Had the idea for this piece in my head for awhile but just now got off my butt to get things done. Partially a learning piece though it was not originally the case. Still got a lot to learn when it comes to digital painting but this piece was a good step in the right direction.

If anyone's interested in her backstory. Basically she, along with her husband, are two bounty hunters in a far off galaxy from ours who are forced to find new work after a major screw up occurs when chasing a bounty. They decide to head to a recently discovered planet nicknamed Blue Hope essentially becoming space pioneers. The story follows Molly and her husband's journey there.

Also lol at the title. First thing that came to my mind.
