Description "Put me in coach - I'm ready to play, today"
-John Fogerty

I know the lyrics are from a song about baseball, but it seems to fit for this image as well.

I'm sure everyone that has played sports at one time or another has had this feeling- "I would rather play, than watch."

I used a Canon EOS 5 with a 75-300mm is set to f5.6 and 1/60 sec, Fuji 400 colour print film, and blurring the piss out of the referee and ice using photoshop 6 (I hate the referee in general!).

It's possible in regards to post-processing. Any hints on how to get my system/monitor calibrated to get your colours? and perhaps a quickie lesson on pshop 6? that would be nice

well, i have no idea how to do it without a "spyder" (do a search for spyder)
how many MP does ur scanned photos have?
actually it works like that:
do color/level adjustments
then remove noise by using neat image or any other tool (there is a plugin for ps)
resize
sharpen by using USM (use 160/0,6/0 for the first time and if you have a noise-free photo you could apply it a secondt ime [play with the settings etc]
thas the way i do
