Alright, so I've got a really late birthday present forHappy Birthday!!!

I had seen the cover, and wanted to do a parody of it, and it was actually hlwar 's journal on image songs that made me think to use the Runaways: hlwar.deviantart.com/journal/I…
The title is the title of a song by The Runaways (the band).

Wow, when I saw this pop up in my Notifications my jaw just dropped. I was like, "They're a BAND!" It made me so happy to see. And totally a band I would roadie! XD It's actually really funny because it's probably obvious how much music inspires everything I do, and so I'd been wondering who would play what instrument if the kids were in a band. I kid you not! And you even made Tye the singer, which is exactly what I imagined, him being all Ben Burnley, haha! Virgil makes me giggle because he's having a blast there, and Ed and Sam look adorable rockin' out together! This is so awesome and such a fun idea!!
I'm blown away by all the artistic work you put into this piece, too! There's so many little things which show a lot of time-consuming care, like the individually colored lines, and you even changed the color of their outlines where the neons hit them. Absolutely cool! OMG the background details, the way you textured the line of trees is great, and you really nailed the replication of the TT cover image; each color, the placement, the posing—absolutely perfect! I love the stage lights, rigging, and amplifiers, you went all out! A sold out audience, too, makes me proud! XD
The energy and fun in this illustration gets me so pumped, I actually hear Tye repeating David Draiman from Distrubed: "When this shit kicks in, I wanna see each and every one of you—from the front to the back, from the light to the right—JUMP THE F*CK UP!" Hellz yeah~ \m/
I've heard of the real band before, but I had to look up this specific song (listening to the Live From Japan album version) and it just adds another level, with the lyrics and the way it just plays up this parody, considering. Aaahhh, good times!! Thank you again and again!!

Yeah, I hadn't listened to any of the band's songs before, but I felt like I should use a title of one of their songs for it. It felt appropriate. o3o
