Description I control the natural course of everything, even the faintest breath that passes through.
I spin and cut the thread, and carry people away in my bittersweet embrace to a better world.
Everyone avoids me, but they must realize I am everywhere; and see all one wishes to hide.
I lurk in your bedrooms, communities and stairways;waiting for my next time to in un noticed, till its too late.

Some people yearn for my embrace,to escape from the life they were thrust into.
They take their weapons of choice. and come to me bleeding, in emotional pieces; shattered glass that never got picked up.
Some people gamble with me, juggling cancer with their cards lined up at the ready.
I am in the end the best player, capturing the right flush to win.
It may take decades or simple moments, but soon you will be caught in my web.
Sometimes, I am your unlikely savior.

Life brings you out into the world too soon, and I can see your broken route on the highway of life.
Rather then have you suffer, I save you from this monstrosity.
I carry you away in my arms, in various states of helplessness.

In turn, I bring suffering upon people who have yet to meet me; to have a few spoken words.
Many a tear is shed due to my acts, many worried thoughts on those lonely nights.
No one wishes to befriend me, even though my task is to much to bear alone.
I do not want to bring pain and suffering, I did not decide how people cope with respond.

I am simply death.

Death In Samarkand

Consider the story of the soldier visiting a random marketplace. Suddenly he spots Death at a crossing - and... believes he sees the Reaper make a menacing gesture in his direction!
The soldier rushes to the King's palace in utter terror, and pleads the King to lend him his best horse, so that he might flee during the night, far from Death, as far as the distant Samarkand.
After his hasty departure, the King summons Death to the palace, and then reproaches him for having frightened one of his best servants. But Death, astonished, replies: "I'm terribly sorry Sire; I didn't mean to scare him! It was just that I was so surprised to see this man here, when we have a rendez-vous tomorrow, in Samarkand..."

Here's his facts and stuff: He's from a show called "Soul Eater" my personal fav. Basically he's The Lord of Death. He's super silly and fun. But terrifying at the same time. Lol
He started a school for weapons and meisters. The weapons can transform inTo humans. He can't leave the city he built. He has a son too. His name is Death the kid. He try's to be serious but is just as Silly as his dad. Lol Here's a pic:

This is really good! It kind of reminded me of Markus Zusak's The Book Thief - which is narrated by Death.

"I lurk in your bedrooms, communities and stairways;waiting for my next time to in un noticed, till its too late."
To be completely honest, I'm not exactly sure what this means, or is supposed to be...

other than that, very powerful, and very true.

Well :3, it means that death is always around, waiting for when he is needed; and people don't notice him till its too late ( person is dead). And thank you so much!

Ahh... Unfortunately, my family knows death well, too well... But that, I guess, comes with having a big family...

All the lines coalesce very well together. No editing to enhance the quality of the poem is required, I believe.

Incredible. Β I think I see a typo though. Β In the line where he's speaking about his task, Β the "to" needs one more "o."
