mm I generally work in Paint Tool SAI, I'm not sure if I'll help;Β
but basically, you should save your art as a .psd or .sai file if you use SAI, then when you open it in Photoshop, it is naturally transparent as long as you didn't put a background!

if you use sai, then I have no clue. lol
if you have photoshop AND sai, export the sai file to photoshop, open it in there and screw with the settings at the beggining to make the bg transparent. idk how to explain things. you could look it up i guess?
