This is my next gen Sailor Uranus for my Paths Diverge universe. She is obviously the daughter of Haruka and Michiru.

Shiomi is the firstborn of Haruka and Michiru. The two had waited longer than the other senshi to have children, in large part due to their fanatical desire to protect everyone with no distractions--especially after Serenity's death. They only decided to procreate when the children of their friends began to be old enough to train and offer a second defense against evil. Although neither Haruka nor Michiru wanted to force the next generation to battle, they knew that they might have to in time. As well, the senshi team was weakened without a Uranus or Neptune, but the couple didn't want to force their powers on one of their friends' children.

Although they have children partly to pass on their power, the couple also do want their own kids. Michiru chooses to carry their children at least at first, and Shiomi is the eldest. In this universe, any child of two approximately equal senshi might have the powers of either one parent or both.

When Shiomi is born, Michiru hopes that she will be Sailor Neptune. It becomes apparent quickly that is not the case, however, as Shiomi can hear the wind speak even as a child. She also takes after Haruka in many other ways, becoming a runner and rarely wearing feminine clothing (or staying clean). Michiru is comforted somewhat by Shiomi's looks, as the girl is widely regarded to be the most beautiful younger senshi, though Shiomi herself couldn't care less.

Her hair is, like Shiori's in my main universe, two-toned. Unlike Shiori, however, Shiomi considers it a nuisance at best and would cut it if she didn't think Michiru would die from disappointment. The girl doesn't mind feminine clothing except that they tend to be easier to catch on stuff and ruin, so she almost never wears dresses or skirts. She also avoids all of that because she is completely not interested in romance for a large part of her childhood and would really rather focus on her hobbies, rather than romance.

Shiomi has a pretty good relationship with everyone. She has a bit of an inferiority complex with Michiru, since she soon discovers what Michiru had hoped, but they are still close. She and Haruka are running mates, and the girl is steadily catching up to her papa. She loves her younger siblings madly. As far as the other senshi in her generation are concerned, she's close to Chihiro because of their shared love of the outdoors, and Chihiro's sister Fuyuki because they're close in age and have similar issues with their mothers.
