Hes completely done in Oils. I switch between mediums depending on what I feel like at the time Fixed the link, thanks for letting me know.

I've never tried oils before. I'd like to try them, but I wouldn't know what to look for when buying.

There's a realy good tutorial on youtube, "how to paint a dappled grey" I think it's called, that's what I started with and then just picked up my own style as I want along and still am As for what to buy, I'd start with something cheep to practice with and then as you get a feel for the (or not, if you don't like them)then you can go in search of something more suited to your style

Yes, tubes you can get quite small tubes too so if you don't like it you won't have a tone sitting around.
