My mother volunteers at an animal rescue, so we get all sorts of animals that we foster from the shelter. We read the E-List every day, which always makes me sad because we know we can't save all of them. I am mainly saying this due to the fact that one of my favorite artists has posted something about adopting from pet shelters<3. Thank you for that;

Puppies are rather hard to foster @_@. Our first foster was a mom and her 6 puppies, haha. But we have new kittens coming in our house nearly every day; we have a room just for them |D.

I wish i could adopt from shelter but I'm allergic to most cats and dogs

But there is this one breed called a devon rex. and they loose all hair at 12 weeks old.
and then grow back a curly or wavy coat. I have a cat like that. But the thing is, is that the breed is kinda hard to find in most areas. But! I might find one someday!

But there's treasures hiding at the shelter sometimes,
my cat, Nub, is a Pixiebob (half bobcat). We got him for free as a foster when he was still being bottle fed. If you were to buy a cat of that breed, it'd be around $2,000
