Description Just in time for Nintendo's E3 2017 showcase today, here's another crossover scenario from yours truly!  This time it's between Yo-Kai Watch and the acclaimed Miyazaki masterpiece Spirited Away!

Nate, Whisper and Jibanyan have inadvertently stumbled across the Bathhouse of the Spirits, and Yubaba, upon seeing Nate's Yo-Kai Watch, is furious because she, along with all the other spirits, REVERE Yo-Kai, and the mere idea of a human treating them like "slaves" is simply revolting to her.  Nate's determined to show that they're not slaves, but his friends.  So Yubaba has made a deal with Nate: if he can satisfy every single Yo-Kai he has a medal for in the bathhouse in 3 days, she will let him go free.  If not...he will lose ALL memory of the human world, and will live as a slave in the bathhouse forever.

Since Yo-Kai get the "deluxe treatment" I the bathhouse, Jibanyan, Whisper and Komasan enjoy a nice hot soak in the baths, enjoying themselves.  But now Nate--with his Yo-Kai Medals confiscated, and his name changed to Dai--is cleaning the floorboards just outside of the baths.  Will Dai be able to get his freedom, his medals, his name--and most of all, his dignity--back?

I thought that Spirited Away and Yo-Kai Watch would go perfectly together since both are about mythical Japanese spirits.  To give it even more of a Japanese feel, I put some Japanese text on the wall--similar to my Osaka and Komasan pic--that roughly translates to "Warning: staying in the bath for too long may cause dizziness."  As for Nate's new name Dai: I looked up his Japanese name Keita Amano (天野景太) and, just like Yubaba did to Chihiro in Spirited Away, removed a few characters leaving "太", which, according to my Google Translate app, means "thick".  So it's like a demeaning name, like calling Nate a "numbskull".  See kids?  You can be both funny AND educational at the same time!
