Description
This reminded me of floating down the river. Your raft spiraling around as you lay staring up at the treetop canopy above you. All the while drifting in a half asleep state of bliss.Mad props to for his idea of pre_bwraps2 spirals and the depth of field effect.

My longest amount of time is actually spent on finding that "perfect" gradient for each fractal because it makes a difference I have found. What looks amazing on one flame can look not good on another. I don't really understand color, honestly. It almost seems like magic to me. I don't know if it is the weights in the flame itself or what; but it does make a difference. And of course a different color background affects the overall color too, especially with white backgrounds.

Having a background that looks good on a fractal that isn't white or black is stupidly hard. I still don't have a good enough grasp of how to get it to create super-clean lines and control the color. I usually end up choosing a gradient that looks good and then tweaking the weights/color speed/color until I'm happy with it. You'd be surprised at how many fractals I have stored away that I never post because I can't make the colors/lines look how I want them to.

No, I wouldn't be surprised! I actually had an old flame file from apophysis that was 10 years old that I finally found the right gradient for and also the final tweak I was happy with.
Actually, I do the same thing with a lot of my gradients too. I usually up the saturation with all of them. I have saving and also making gradients off and on since 2004 and I have so many it is unreal!

Personally, I've never been a big fan of fractals but I love this one. The transition from green to gold in the 'leaves' really does it for me.
