"Across the street, there is a persimmon tree. Stark black trunk and branches fit right into the tones all around. But the fruit comes bursting through in a bright profusion. Rich, round, and ripe, sun globes of orange. You can almost taste their dew-sweetness with a glance. A physical memory of summer days and searing sun embodied in each persimmon.
Bite, and with that crisp honey melon flavor is the Memory of a tree."

What a beautiful image to see in the dreary time of winter - and what a lovely quote to match it to boot! I must say what caught my eye first is the detail of her wings; they look so frail and dainty at first, but the glow just lends them that extra strengh! The whole design of the fairy is very well done, I love how you get the idea that her feet are there but don't really see them, and that mask is lovely! Another fav!
