Am i obsessed with these pictures? no, I'm just too lazy to do something else ^___^ AND! i always wanted to draw someone's back...backs are nasty - i can never manage to draw one right. So, consider it practice!the idea came to me while i was marveling at Schwein's live photos. The light and the energy were there in all their magnificent but also there were a couple of yummy moments (thanks to Sakurai!) so i decided to draw something like that.
I haven't touched my wacom and pencils since 8th February and my hand feels strange (it seems like it's been a long time, huh).The lack of practice can be seen in those ugly lines and somehow awkward proportions. So, I'm not even hoping that someone will like it

Sorry, to disappoint you, then, but it really does look great. I know backs are hard! I've got the same opinion! But this one turned out beautifully. Great flow to the piece.

actually, the thing that inspires me the most is their lives. I do read the lyrics and i really like it but what marvels me is how Sakurai manages to convey the meaning and the image of the song with his voice and facial expressions. That's just fantastic. Sometimes i don't even need to look at the translation because everything is clear (Long Distance Call is a perfect example!) It's almost like their music has its own language ^__^

oh god this Long Distance Song gets me into it sooooo deeep.... I get so touched, I can even start crying
I love reading their interviews, they inspire me also. For example I love Acchan's interview with SNOB in 2005. That was so touching. After this I was thinking SO much, like all week I was questioning myself about life and stuff xDD There he speaks about all his life actually, from horrible childhood, hard years in school, illness in Nepal etc..

yeah, i read this interview too ^__^ i was actually surprised that he talked so openly. I somehow thought that he liked his private matters left...private. And i actually liked the way he thinks, so i agree with you-interviews are such an inspiration!I too walked like a zombie after i read the interview and there were so many thoughts in my head!
and yesterday i read some interview (i believe it was FT) which was based on some personality test and, omg, Acchan part was so hilarious

well, yeah, ukish,,i changed it half-way because somehow it should be ukish, it didn't feel like a seme picture because seme picture should have only seme in it. that's how i felt. It'd have been seme picture if he looked at the viewer but i chose otherwise.
His hands bother you? why? too scary? though i must agree- i don't really like the angle of his arm here although the hand seems okay, i mean the grip looks...natural to me
спина вообще отдельный разговор. там всего несколько линий, но ее я рисовала дольше всего....арррр, такой же камень предкновения, как и руки...только руки как-то уже научилась скрывать или выдавать нечто на них похожее, а вот спина...там столько всяких линий, которые хочется показать, столько вкусных теней и изгибов, но если их все рисовать, то получится фигня, а если не рисовать - получится еще большая фигня.
а семе я все-таки обещаю, обязательно будет. я вчера уже подобрала материальчик, буду думать...хочется его как-то....выделить что ли, но при этом не забыть про второго персонажа, который..тоже важен! вообще, я думаю, что это из-за того,что я наверное сама по жизни мазохист, и посему мне сложно выдвинуть семе на первый план

гммм, как вариант семе-картинки, можно попробовать изменить общую схему работы с "личность" + "сила, которая на эту личность воздействуе" (под личностью понимаем уке, под силой - семе) на следующую схему: "личность (семе) + материал, с которым нужно поработать (уке)"
Тогда смещается центр, но при этом остаются оба персонажа

знаешь,мне пришлось прочитать три раза, чтобы понять формулу. да, точно...завтра запишусь на олимпиаду по математике
думается мне, что мне самой для начала надо понять семе как личность. То есть модель поведения уке мне ясна...его подавляют , и он ловит с этого кайф, потому что может открыться, все защитные механизмы в топку, и от этго сносит башню, потому что можно отдаться и забыться, а вот семе...надо осознать, КАК он отпускает себя, как это для него. Если уке может пасть ниже плинтуса, целовать сапоги и отблизывать перчатки, кусая ремни и пуская слюни, то тут...надо одновременно сохранить достоинство (авторитет), не показать каких-то очевидных эмоций,но при этом выразить, что он тоже с этого всего ловит кайф.

Also this piece reminded me of Atsu and Yoshiki's photoshoot together... I think Atsu is wearing a similar outfit in those pictures. 
Anyway, I think the back is perfect... So don't worry.

well, i started the series because of that photoshoot (damn it! seriously, i curse it! I couldn't fall asleep after i'd seen it!) I really liked the idea although Yoshiki looks like Mylene Farmer in some photos
