) I'm sick off my crappy as fuck backgrounds...so I challenged myself the one on the left was done on Photoshop the one on the right (cave) done on SAI ^^Going down a row we have a pic of Tau :3 I wanted to draw him in a Kovu cub movie pose to see if he had enough of mum and dad in him <<

Acerdi with his foot up- Khalan as a teen :'3 Acerdi have flexible arms ^^ they're not lions~ I...can't remember why he's holding his arm up...I think I was going to add his mentor in and he was leaning on a tree stump bored out of his mind...
Lioness head- Alika- Issa's little half sister =3 hence why she looks like Vitani x'D

Zira- at one point, I had the theory that Zira was actually Naanda when I saw the "naanda had a stripe on her forehead" and put their colours next to each other...but then I realised- incest down the line, so now she was once called Allana and was a non-royal pride princess <<

It was "the party of your dreams" we had to chose 4 of our favourite actors and make a 2d animation of them at a party- they could be as their characters or as themselves- and the party could be as normal or as crazy as you could imagine x'D I suck at drawing people, so couldn't really be asked to even try OTL so I asked my tutor if I could make them cats and he said yes x'D I have like...3 seconds of animation done for it- as far as I got x'D

not really x'D He win's the battle- but in the process loses everyone close to him, so he's loved as the new ruler and saviour from darkness, but he's somewhat broken inside

At least there is a silver lining.....for everyone but him.
Is it bad of me to like the fact that there is not a happy ending persay. I feel like it portrays a more accurate representation of what those events would do to a being.

Yeah, I mean- I love a happy ending, it's like a relief from the harsh reality of life...but in reality, if a character loses; their father, their mother, their friends, mentors, love interest/partner and a bunch of "soldiers" under their command...it's going to mess them up >>
He doesn't become evil or anything though...he just develops a bubble so to say- I wanted to make a real smack to the gut change in him...he starts off as a happy little cub- then loses his mother- struggles with that for a bit, but then meets his mentor and with him, his future friends- he's a typical grumpy teen, but is game for a laugh and has a good sense of humour and general fun- he's then made aware of how he was born into a privileged life and told he would one day have to lead the fight for his rightful land and the freedom of those residing among it; so he begins proper training- hardens his personality a bit since he's been shown the horrors of the real world and had a ton of responsibility thrust on his shoulders- but he's still the same guy, still the one to make them smile and lighten the mood- intentionally or not...he was an optimist in a sense.
Then at the end, he's a shell of that- you can see he wants to smile, laugh and be happy- but he's too far gone to remember how, he also feels guilty for enjoying life when his loved one's no longer can <<

I agree some happiness is good to have. It makes all the bad, harsh, and ugly in the world sting a little less.
Wow!! I love this story it sounds so interesting and complex.
He has what is often refer to as survivors guilt/remorse. I have not seen that much. Most of the time it is accept and move on.
