this was a thing i had to do for viscomm at school
as you could guess, we had to design a teaser poster for an upcoming movie, and incorporate as many elements and principles of art as we could.
i could break down all of them but i'm too lazy
LOL I GOT LAZY W THIS hence why some bits might seem pretty scrappy but who cares i was too stressed to work properly on it.
aaand it's my first time drawing toothless's body and it's been yonks since i've drawn dragon wings so it was hard to make them transparent and dark and nnn...
and i scrappily edited the title lmao my photoshop skills are something else
anyway BEING LAZY AF i wasnt bothered to actually look at how the mechanics of his taiil/saddle etc worked soo.......
anyway this is due tomorrrow and im glad i at least whipped up something.
we could choose any upcoming movie and the way the poster was produced.
and of course working on this and watching the first movie again and working on toothless's anatomy has made me become rly obsessed with the httyd series...ha.

I do love how you made Toothless' wings see-through... but not so see-through as to be too thin/unable to support his weight.
I love the perspective, I love the background (seriously, did you make those clouds yourself?? 'Cause they look un-frigging-believable!

nah i used a brush for the clouds...i WAS going to make my own clouds but I got lazy ;v;

Oh, cool! How do you even "use a brush" for the clouds? Is like, a basic shape that you can make into a brush or download or a plugin for a program or... what?? I don't even know!
